Our Service Is Free for You
ComparisonHQ does not charge consumers anything to use our comparison service. Our comparison tools, AI-powered recommendations, and savings tracker are all free to use.
How We Earn Revenue
We earn revenue through commercial arrangements with our participating providers. When you compare products on ComparisonHQ and choose to switch to or purchase a product from one of our participating providers, we may receive a payment from that provider. This can take the following forms:
Referral Commissions
We may receive a commission from a participating provider when you purchase a product or successfully switch to their service through our platform. The commission amount varies by provider and product category.
Lead Generation Fees
Some providers pay us a fee when we refer a qualified lead to them, regardless of whether you complete a purchase.
Click-Through Fees
In some cases, providers may pay us a fee when you click through from our comparison results to their website.
Does This Affect Our Comparisons?
We are committed to ensuring that our commercial arrangements do not compromise the impartiality of our comparison service. Our default comparison results are ordered based on factors relevant to you, such as price, features, and the information you provide during the comparison process.
Where a comparison result is influenced by a commercial arrangement (for example, a "featured" or "sponsored" listing), this will be clearly labelled and disclosed.
Which Providers Do We Compare?
We compare products from our participating providers with whom we have a commercial relationship. We do not compare all products or providers available in the Australian market. We are working to expand our provider network to offer the most comprehensive comparisons possible.
The absence of a provider or product from our comparison results does not imply anything about the quality or value of that provider or product.
